About the Mercedes-Benz MB 100 and MB 180 W631

The Mercedes-Benz MB 100 family was developed in Spain as a range of light commercial vehicles for passenger and goods transport. Manufactured at the Vitoria plant, it was offered in different lengths, roof heights, load capacities and body configurations.

The range included designations such as MB 100, MB 120, MB 140 and MB 180, together with different diesel engines and some petrol versions. Its forward-control layout and front-wheel drive allowed much of the vehicle's overall length to be used for cargo or passenger accommodation.

The design received a major renewal in 1987 and a revised front section intended to improve safety in 1992. W631 versions were subsequently manufactured in South Korea with engines and equipment differing from European vehicles, making it particularly important to check the market, engine and year before selecting documentation.
