It is a sports car with coupe body that was manufactured between 1972 and 1981. In response to the criticism made to the uncomfortable rear seat of the SL originates a new variant in this sports known as SLC. The new vehicle combines the body of the convertible with a rigid coupe roof and greater interior volume, adding 30 centimeters more than the convertible, to comfortably accommodate four people. Different versions were equipped with gasoline engines.
